Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, creating an account on or using Penjolu, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Penjolu.

If you use Penjolu on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. About Penjolu

Penjolu provides technology that allows customers to post service requests, discover professionals, receive quotes, communicate and manage service-related activity.

Except where explicitly stated, Penjolu does not directly perform the services advertised or requested through the platform. Any service agreement is generally between the customer and the selected independent professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or enter into service agreements through Penjolu.

You may not use Penjolu if you are legally prohibited from doing so or if your account was previously suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
• You may not sell, transfer or share your account credentials.
• You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

Penjolu may require verification or additional information before allowing access to certain features.

5. Service Professional Responsibilities

Professionals using Penjolu agree to:

• Provide truthful information about skills, experience and services.
• Maintain all licenses, permits, insurance and registrations required by law.
• Perform accepted work safely, professionally and lawfully.
• Honor accepted quotes, schedules and commitments.
• Communicate respectfully and promptly with customers.
• Comply with tax, employment and business obligations applicable to them.

Penjolu may display verification indicators, but such indicators do not guarantee quality, licensing, identity, safety or future conduct.

6. Service Requests, Quotes and Availability

Customers are responsible for providing accurate descriptions, locations, timing, photos and other relevant information about a requested service.

Quotes may be estimates and may change if the scope, conditions, materials or requirements differ from the original request. Any revised price should be discussed and accepted before additional work.

Penjolu does not guarantee that a professional will respond, that a requested service will be available or that a transaction will be completed.

7. Agreements Between Users

When a customer accepts a professional's quote or otherwise hires a professional, the customer and professional may enter into a separate agreement. Each party is responsible for understanding and fulfilling that agreement.

Penjolu is not responsible for the quality, legality, timeliness, safety or completion of work performed by independent professionals.

8. Payments, Fees and Refunds

Penjolu may offer payment-related features directly or through third-party processors. Additional payment terms may be presented when those features are used.

• Users authorize applicable charges when confirming a transaction.
• Penjolu may charge platform, processing or service fees where disclosed.
• Professionals are responsible for taxes associated with their earnings.
• Refund eligibility may depend on the facts, payment method and applicable policy.

If a payment occurs outside Penjolu, users assume the associated risk, and Penjolu may be unable to assist with disputes or refunds.

9. Ratings and Reviews

Reviews must be based on genuine experiences and must not contain false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, confidential or unlawful content.

Penjolu may remove, restrict or decline to publish reviews that violate these Terms or platform policies. Penjolu does not guarantee that all reviews are accurate.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use Penjolu for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent qualifications.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit another user.
• Post illegal, dangerous, obscene or infringing content.
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising or malicious communications.
• Attempt to bypass payments, fees, security or access controls.
• Scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with Penjolu systems.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, job activity or account status.

11. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, photos, job descriptions, messages and reviews.

You grant Penjolu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve the platform.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

12. Penjolu Intellectual Property

The Penjolu name, logo, software, interfaces, designs, text, graphics, trademarks and other platform materials are owned by Penjolu, IROCA Software or their licensors.

These Terms do not grant users ownership of Penjolu intellectual property. Users receive only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose.

13. Third-Party Services

Penjolu may rely on third parties for authentication, maps, hosting, communications, analytics, storage, payment processing and other functionality.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Penjolu is not responsible for third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimers

Penjolu is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific results, the suitability of any professional, the accuracy of user content or that every service will be safe, lawful, satisfactory or completed.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penjolu and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Penjolu is not responsible for acts, omissions, injuries, property damage, losses, disputes or misconduct arising from services performed by independent users.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Penjolu and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from your use of Penjolu, your content, your services, your violation of these Terms or your violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Suspension and Termination

Penjolu may investigate conduct and restrict, suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these Terms or address fraud, abuse, risk or nonpayment.

Users may stop using Penjolu at any time and may request account deletion through the app or our Delete Account page.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, users are encouraged to contact support and attempt to resolve the matter informally.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Penjolu, law, technology or business practices. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
